Hundreds of migrating snails caused a six-car pile-up as they slithered across a busy dual carriageway.
Police closed the highway for several hours while crushed and surviving snails were scraped off the road near Stuttgart.
‘The slime was making the road so slippery that people started skidding all over the place,’ one motorist said. ‘It was like a horror film.’

Really, the largest green leaf in this country is a dockleaf; if one holds it before one, it is like a whole apron, and if one holds it over one’s head in rainy weather, it is almost as good as an umbrella, for it is so immensely large. The burdock never grows alone, but where there grows one there always grow several: it is a great delight, and all this delightfulness is snails’ food. The great white snails which persons of quality in former times made fricassees of, ate, and said, “Hem, hem! how delicious!” for they thought it tasted so delicate–lived on dockleaves, and therefore burdock seeds were sown.
Now, there was an old manor-house, where they no longer ate snails, they were quite extinct; but the burdocks were not extinct, they grew and grew all over the walks and all the beds; they could not get the mastery over them–it was a whole forest of burdocks. Here and there stood an apple and a plum-tree, or else one never would have thought that it was a garden; all was burdocks, and there lived the two last venerable old snails.

I promise last week to give you a new and fresh blogger template. Now, just finished convert the Snail template for blogger. Later on, you could find the download link on the end of this post.
So, keep reading and here is the screenshot.
Snail is based on wordpress engine and it’s ain’t a free theme. Snail is designed and used only at cinila.com.
Then why now becoming a free template?
On mid April’2008, the cinila.com owner, redesign her blog and install a new theme, I ask whether I can get the Snail and recode it for blogger.com users and the most important is it will be distributed as a free template.
She respond me and gimme the code, so say her a hello and thanks. Ups, forget to inform you, cinila.com is an indonesian blog but she understand english very well.
You might download the code here, but enable to use this Snail template as your blogger template, you will need a magic word to open the zip file. Live blog demo here!
